NYS EMS Workforce Study Reminder: Request to complete survey

By Feedback Requests

The notice below was originally sent on June 6th. There is still an opportunity to provide feedback if you have not done so already!

——————————-

Dear EMS Agency Administrator:

The New York State Emergency Medical Services Council (SEMSCO), in partnership with the Bureau of EMS and Trauma Systems (BEMSATS), is conducting a study of the New York State EMS workforce.

At this time, we are asking EMS agencies to complete a voluntary survey regarding shortages of certified EMS providers and the impact on an agency’s ability to serve its community.

Click on this link to complete the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NYSEMSWorkforce

Please note that all responses will be complied in an aggregated report and no individual or identifying responses will be released.

Questions regarding the survey or this study may be directed to Steven Kroll, SEMSCO Member, at steven.kroll@delmarems.org.

Regional and County EMS leaders are asked to share this e-mail with all EMS agencies and encourage agencies to complete the survey.

On behalf of the SEMSCO, thank you for participating in this endeavor and for all you do every day to provide the best EMS care to your community.

Ryan P. Greenberg
Director
Bureau of EMS and Trauma
