Rural EMS Training and Equipment Assistance Grant

By June 24, 2026No Comments
Dear NAEMT Member,

NAEMT strongly urges all eligible rural public/nonprofit EMS agencies and fire departments to apply for funding through the FY26 Rural EMS Training and Equipment Assistance (REMSTEA) Grant Program, established under the SIREN Act.

REMSTEA grants can help agencies purchase equipment, provide training, recruit and retain personnel, acquire medical supplies and medications, upgrade ambulances, and address other critical operational needs.

In past years, many NAEMT members have received SIREN grants through this program and have initiated multiple projects to implement innovation and enhance sustainability. Through NAEMT advocacy the amount of funding in this program continues to grow to increase the number of grants available.

The application deadline is quickly approaching. Applications are due July 16, 2026.

If your agency serves a rural community, we strongly encourage you to review the funding opportunity and apply before the deadline.

Please do not miss this opportunity to secure federal funding to strengthen your agency’s ability to provide lifesaving care. For eligibility requirements and application information, visit the official grant announcement.

Thank you,

NAEMT Team
