We are excited to invite dedicated EMS providers from local agencies to join the Regional EMS Stroke Committee, a collaborative initiative between Catholic Health and Kaleida Health.
This joint venture is committed to enhancing stroke education, strengthening prehospital care, and improving outcomes for patients across our region.
As part of this effort, the committee will promote the use of the BEFAST Stroke Scale, recently approved by WREMAC, and support ongoing stroke-related training, quality improvement, and interagency collaboration.
We are seeking EMS professionals who are passionate about clinical excellence, education, and advancing stroke care in the prehospital setting.
Committee members will contribute valuable field perspectives and help shape educational outreach, best practices, and regional stroke initiatives.
