Over the past several years, we know our regions have experienced some severe weather conditions such as blizzards and snow storms, extreme cold, damaging winds, tornados, and flooding. Across New York State, many other regions have faced similar conditions.
The Safety Subcommittee of the SEMSCO is working to develop a best practices document designed to guide agencies in preparing for unexpected events such as severe weather incidents that may impact the agency’s ability to staff and respond to calls.
One of the first steps in developing this document is to assess the current readiness of agencies for such situations. We would appreciate your help by answering these survey questions.
Thank you, and stay safe!

Greetings Everyone,
Attached are the final 3 schedules for the AEMT-CC to Medic Bridge Program. If you are an EMT-CC and still want to bridge to Medic, please take a look at the schedules and decide which one works best for you. If you are planning on attending, please make sure that you have all the necessary documentation that is required prior to registering. Again, this is the final classes being taught prior to the official sunsetting of the EMT-CC level of care.
