We are excited to share two Student Assistant opportunities within the New York State Division of State EMS designed to support and develop the next generation of EMS and public health leaders. These roles are ideal for undergraduate or graduate students looking to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a statewide EMS system. The positions are part-time during the academic year, with the opportunity for increased hours during the summer for students who are interested.
EMS for Children (EMSC) Student Assistant
Supports pediatric EMS programs, including maintaining program databases, assisting with advisory committee coordination, and supporting statewide survey efforts.

Project Management Student Assistant
Supports the Division’s Project Management Unit, including tracking EMS initiatives, preparing materials for meetings, supporting data reporting, and assisting with coordination across programs.
