Message below from Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital Administration:

The parking lot areas from the ED patient parking back through the lower aspect of the North lot will be milled and paved beginning Monday 8/24 and going through 8/26.

Monday 8/24- lower aspect of North lot including over by the dock will be milled and paved.

Tuesday 8/25- drive from ED patient parking all the way back to the start of the North lot to be milled.  Traffic will still be able to get through as needed, especially ambulance traffic.

Wednesday 8/26- this area will be paved.

Again, traffic will be allowed through, especially ambulance traffic.

This project does include the ED loop and all ED patient parking.  It does include the part of the drive that goes past the ambulance loop, but does NOT include the ambulance loop itself.

This should not affect ambulance access to the ED but more for awareness.

This email is primarily directed towards ESO EPCR Users, feel free to share.  In July ESO activated a facility rule which should not have been activated which effected an unknown number of EPCR records across New York State.  The rule involves the facility code and names which must match the state list.  This change remapped many EPCRs facilities to show “Unlisted Facility” and changed the facility code to a generic code which does not allow the chart to cross into Hospital Hub for facility review.

Recently ESO sent correspondence to customers regarding the issue and the need for agency administrators to update facilities within their platform to avoid future problems.  Below are two links; the first contains the directions on how to access the NYS Data Set from the NEMSIS site, the second is the link to the NEMSIS Site:

When double checking your facility list, please be sure it is entered exactly the way it appears on the state list.   All other agencies using other vendors, please update your facilities as well.
