ECMC Construction Map – Update

By Uncategorized

Greetings Everyone,

Originally we sent out a map showing the alternate routes related to the recent construction going on near ECMC. It was reported that the map was confusing and less than accurate. Some of the staff at ECMC took the time to clarify this a little bit better, so we wanted to share their efforts. Attached is a better outline of alternate routes to ECMC. Please feel free to download and share with you providers.

Important Detour Information – ECMC Grider Street Bridge

By Uncategorized

Greetings Everyone,

It has been brought to my attention that starting on Monday, June 3rd, 2024, the Grider Street Bridge (the most used bridge to get to ECMC from the 33) will be closed by the NYS DOT for rehibiliation work. According to the NYS DOT, it will remain closed under this November. I have included a flyer that outlines this and has proposed alternate routes for you. Please make sure that you share this with your agency and your providers as to avoid any unnecessary delays getting to ECMC during those high priority transport calls. Thanks everyone.

EMS Week

By Uncategorized

Greetings Everyone,

This week marks the 50th EMS week and we wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for all that you do. We know that EMS is still in its infancy stage compared to many of our other healthcare partners, but honestly without you, healthcare wouldn’t be where it is today. Please take a moment this week to reflect on many of the accomplishments that maybe you have done, or one of your coworkers, to make EMS what it is today.

We also wanted to let you know of the many EMS week events that are occurring in the region this week (see attached) and if you find that on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024 you happen to be at ECMC, please join us for the annual “Dogs on the Deck” located right next to the ER. We look forward to seeing many familiar faces, and enjoy what this week has to offer you.
