Wyoming/Erie County Award Nominations

By Uncategorized

Greetings Everyone,

It seems that it is that time of the year again where the Wyoming/Erie REMSCO is looking for your award submissions. Attached is the Flyer of categories that either a person or agency can be considered for an award. Additional, I have attached the link to the application, please make sure that all information is contained on the application. Do not send in a separate word document as the State will not consider the submission if it is forward on for consideration. If you have any questions, or are ready to submit an application, please reach out to me at rmccarti@buffalo.edu. Look forward to seeing all the good stuff that our agencies and providers have done over the years.

From the NYS ENA at Oishei’s Hospital:

The New York State Emergency Nurses Association is hosting a meeting at Oshi Children’s Hospital on 3/26 at 500pm in the Alford Auditorium. The meeting will include a short intro with information on ENA followed by a discussion panel about emergency preparedness, weather events (including the 2022 Christmastime storm) and planning for the eclipse (from the dangers of looking at the sun and safety glasses to managing the influx of people and traffic).

This meeting is for emergency nurses, staff, EMS, and all healthcare professionals. Please forward to your Emergency Department nurses and healthcare teams.

We will be doing an on-site drawing for T-shirts, bags, pens.  There will also be a grand prize drawing (later) for a NYS ENA as well as a National ENA conference scholarship.
