Greetings!

Our office received many concerns over the Muru App and the hospital medical control numbers lacking within the app,  Our office has been working with  Muru; the following have been changed within the app for our region:

On the main hospital screen where is just says call, will now call medical control and not the main hospital number.

Under the additional hospital information it also lists additional numbers such as ECMC Trauma Hotline under ECMC.

These changes will take effect this morning.   Please note you may have to log out of your app and log back in for the update to go through on your operating system.  If there are any problems please reach out to our office.

“I wanted to let you all know that masks are now optional at ENH with a few exceptions…

Individuals with any of the following should still wear a mask at Eastern Niagara Hospital:

• Respiratory Symptoms (runny nose, cough, sneezing, etc.)
• Close contact in past 10 days with someone who has COVID – 19
• Visiting a patient with a suspected or confirmed respiratory infection

ENH will continue to monitor COVID-19 transmission levels and make adjustments to our masking requirements in accordance with the CDC guidance.”

Urgent Message from ECMC:

ECMC will experience a phone system downtime on April 26, 2023 from 0001-0500hrs. During this time, the ECMC campus will not be able to receive any incoming phone calls. We have a contingency to use cell phones for Trauma Activation and On-Line Medical Control.
