Kaleida Phone System

Hello Prehospital Providers,

We appreciate your response and ability to adapt to our carrier oriented phone “black out” that experienced earlier today. We are pleased to announce that as of 1700 today we were informed and tested that our incoming/outgoing calls are fully functional.

ECMC Scheduled Phone Outage

Providers,

ECMC has scheduled phone system downtime for tomorrow, July 22, 2021, 00:01hrs-04:00hrs. During this time, the ECMC campus will not be able to receive any incoming phone calls. They have a contingency to use cell phones for Trauma Activation and On-Line Medical Control.

During this time they ask EMS providers call the following temporary cell phone numbers:

1.       On-Line Medical Control at (716) 860-2490

2.       Trauma Activation at (716) 238-6928

Final Reminder! WREMAC Credentialing Reports Due by June 30

The 2021 WREMAC annual skills must be complete AND submitted via the UBMD EMS Portal no later than June 30, 2021.  There are only 10 days remaining!

Providers will need to log in an ensure all certifications/credentials are correct.

EMS officers will need to review the list for accuracy and ensure all applicable skills which have been completed are entered in the portal.

Reports are submitted by the agency no later than June 30.  Those who are identified in the EMS Portal as an agency contact will find the “Submit Report to EMS Division” button at the bottom of the membership summary report page.

Post Critical Incident Seminar

Below, please find information regarding an upcoming Post Critical Incident Seminar.  The program was put together a few years ago for law enforcement members of the Labor Management Health Fund (LMHF)and has since been expanded to include all first responders, Corrections officers and health care workers who are trying to cope following a critical incident on the job.

This is an overnight retreat (Friday –Sunday afternoon) and includes a separate session for family members. Please share with anyone who may have left a position due to the stress of an incident.
