ePCR Documentation: Sensitive Fields and Questions

By November 1, 2021No Comments

A message from the NYS Data and Informatics Unit:

Over the course of the last few months and years there have been societal changes and documentation standard changes that some providers have expressed concern about how to approach more sensitive questions.  Throughout the culturally diverse state in which we practice, addressing these cultural differences during the course of patient care has become more of the norm in our daily activities.

On Tuesday, 02 November 2021 at 18:00, Vital Signs Academy is hosting a CME entitled Data Fields and Navigating New (to you) Patient Interview Questions offering some helpful guidance and suggestions for care providers to assist providers encountering what may be either a new or awkward situation.  These clinical data points allow for local EMS agencies, regions and the state to have a comprehensive understanding of the medical needs of the communities we serve.

This CME was developed at the request of the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services and Trauma Systems to provide greater insight to addressing these particular data points and how the collection of these data points impacts patient care and system assessment.

Registration is required for the webinar.  To register, go to www.vitalsignsacademy.com.
